Today’s tip for acing the prep is simple.
Start small.

I do this often.
What’s my game plan?

I jump into the ‘flow’.
How?

By tackling the tiniest task first.
Got a list of 10-11 tasks?
I pick the smallest one to kick off my flow state.

This is my way.

But if it rings a bell, why not give it a whirl?
Give your brain some time to focus.
Knock off a couple of small tasks

And You’re in the zone, ready for deep work sessions.

That’s how I roll.
Forget about sticking to rigid time limits.
I adjust them to fit my day.

Got a 1-hour prayer gap?
I knock off a couple of 20-minute tasks, then dive into a deep work session.
This way, every hour counts.

But it doesn’t stop there.
After each deep work session, I pause.
I reflect on what I’ve done.
This reflection is key.

It lets me appreciate my progress and fuels my drive for the next task.

Remember, it’s not about how many tasks you tick off, but the quality of your work.

So, don’t rush.
Take your time, enjoy the journey, and learn.
In the end, it’s all about finding your rhythm.

So, if you’re like me, start small, get into the flow, and make every moment count.
Here’s to productive days and winning work sessions.

Let’s ace FCPS Part-1 together.

Doctors, you’ve been studying all wrong.

Let’s face it, preparing for the FCPS Part-1 exam is no walk in the park.

It’s more like a marathon.

But what if I told you there’s a way to make it feel like a leisurely jog?

Enter the Pomodoro Technique. 🍅

This time management method, developed by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s, is your secret weapon to conquering the FCPS Part-1 exam.

It’s simple, effective, and best of all, it’s designed to prevent burnout.

Here’s how it works:

1. Choose a task you want to work on.
2. Set a timer for 25 minutes.
3. Work on the task until the timer rings.
4. Take a short break (5 minutes).
5. Repeat the process. After completing four “Pomodoros,” take a longer break (15-30 minutes).

Sounds easy, right?

That’s because it is.

The beauty of the Pomodoro Technique is its simplicity.

It’s easy to implement, and it works.

Why does it work?

It helps you maintain focus and flow, reduces fatigue, and keeps you motivated.

It’s like a personal trainer for your brain, keeping you on track.

It’s not about working harder; it’s about working smarter.

By breaking your study sessions into manageable chunks, you’re able to maintain focus and momentum without feeling overwhelmed.

Doctors, it’s time to ditch those grueling all-nighters.

Embrace the Pomodoro Technique, and let’s pass this FCPS Part-1 exam together.

Remember, the key to success is not just hard work, but smart work.

And the Pomodoro Technique is the smartest work of all.

Did You Know 70% of Doctors Fail to Manage Their Time Effectively?

Let’s talk about something that’s as crucial as your medical knowledge.

Time Management.

Here’s the deal:
1. Prioritize:
Not all tasks are created equal.
Some are more important than others.
Focus on what matters most.

2. Time Blocking:
Assign specific time slots for different tasks.
It’s like making an appointment with your tasks.

3. Pomodoro Technique:
Work for 25 minutes, take a 5-minute break.
Rinse and repeat.
It’s simple, but it works.

4. Say No to Multitasking:
It’s a productivity killer.
Focus on one task at a time.

5. Leverage Tools:
Use apps like Google Calendar, Digital Wellbeing, App blockers.
They’re your digital assistants.
