The Sucker Circuit is all about selling “make money online” stuff to people who are hardworking and struggling.

The theory is that people who are struggling financially will always be able to scrape together a few hundred bucks for some get-rich-quick scheme.

Which means you may see a ton of online ads or emails about “How To Make $5,000 a month” selling on eBay or Amazon or any of the othe fill in the blanks resale networks.

Truth In Advertising?

Are those advertisements based on fact?

Maybe or maybe not.

The bottom line is that there really is no Get-Rick-Quick way to instantly start making $5,000 a month selling online without a lot of blood, sweat and tears.

Unfortunately many people fabricate the truth about how much money they actually make online.

Why Do People Mislead About Their Online Earnings?

Many people purposely mislead others about how much money they make online doing resale or similar ventures.

They do this to try and make more money for themselves by selling eBooks, online consulting services or coaching.

Selling On Amazon and eBay Since 2005

When I first started selling used and old books on Amazon back in 2005 it was an entirely different system.

Over the years Amazon has consistently raised their fees to the point if you don’t know what you’re doing, you could lose some serious money.

The same is true with eBay or similar resale circuit.

Amazon Is Not A Charity

Neither Amazon or eBay or other online sales channels are charity outlets. They are all profit based businesses that will look for anyway to monetize their services.

Remember that is someone emails you that they can help you start an online business in a matter of hours, days or weeks and it sounds way too good to be true.

It most likely is.

Do Your Homework

Always do your homework, understand what it will cost you in terms of your time, fee strutures, customer care processing and management and other hidden costs before you jump in with both feet.

Many people forget to factor in sales or relevant income taxes, storage for their inventory and supplies to handle, process and ship to their various buyers.

Be Prepared To Invest Time, Money And Hard Work

Yes, it definitely is possible to build a very good side business on many of the resale channels, but in most cases it will take time, hard work, study and careful business decisions to grow in a positive and beneficial way.

Remember, if it sounds too good, it most likely is.

Don’t get sucked into the Resale Sucker Circuit.
