E-commerce is a trillion-dollar market. And, it is still growing.

The potential of the e-commerce market is still unknown.

New platforms, e-commerce solutions, technologies, and strategies are coming into the market every day. But they are still not enough to fulfill the market needs.

Although anybody can start an e-commerce business not everyone succeeds in it.

E-commerce is said to be the mindset and lifestyle. If you don’t have the mindset for e-commerce, well, the result is not gonna be great.

Some people jump into it like it is a chocolate lava cake, and end up short. Because they are looking for shortcuts, and they get greedy. They want overnight success.

Well, that’s not gonna happen. Not right now, in this bloody saturated market.

Then what do these desperate people do? They try to scam innocent customers.

But they don’t work anymore. Because customers are getting smarter by the hour. They know if something is not right. They have unlimited choices. Try to avoid these red flags you may be raising unknowingly. Because if the trust breaks, it is almost impossible to build it again.

Beware of these red flags and avoid them at all costs.

If you don’t get the attention of the visitor in the first 5 seconds, you lose them for good.

A lot of the time I see that people try to stuff as much information as possible above the fold.

They try to showcase a lot of their products at once which makes it impossible for the visitor to make a decision.

They try to stuff as many CTAs as possible, do this do that, go here and then there, with no sense of the CTAs at all. And, sometimes they don’t even add a CTA because they want to be as “minimalist” as possible. Absolute bonkers.

No color contrast makes it impossible to read the text. For god's sake, add some kind of an overlay.

Don’t add more menu items than 7. Because the average person can only remember 2 to 3 menu items.

Your call-to-action button must be in contrast with the background and clearly visible. Make it so that visitors should know that you want them to click here.
