The Punjab Tourism Development Corporation (TDCP) has completed a tourist resort worth more than Rs20 million in Cholistan, some 70 kilometers distant and adjacent to the famous Derawar Fort.

The resort is now finished in time for the 18th annual desert jeep rally, which will be held in Cholistan in February 2023.

According to news reports, the Punjab Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) authorized four development projects totaling PKR 17 billion on Thursday (November 10).

Syed Murad Ali Shah said on Thursday that Rs137.3 billion had been spent on development projects during the previous five years, especially for internal roads, water supply, sewage, solid waste management, storm water drains, and transportation and mass transit.
