Visiting Mohatta Palace was a dream come true for me. I have been longing to visit this Master piece of Architecture since my University time but never get a chance during that time as when you are living in Pakistan you literally dont think about visiting places like these but after living an expat life for more than a decade I planned to show my daughter our cultural and national heritage, places those have roots in our history and I started the exploration journey with my city of lights Karachi ❤️

History of Mohatta Palace:

The Palace is a tale of love just like the Taj Mahal in India, but a little bit different is that the Taj Mahal was built after the death of his wife while the Mohatta Palace was built to save a wife’s life. It was built by the Hindu Marwari entrepreneur, Shivratan Chandratan Mohatta in 1927.
