There are so many conversations I wish I had with my father. From trying to know what his childhood is like to what keeps him up at night.

But whether it’s us not having the confidence to ask or them trying to protect us and hold it all in…. At the end we are just left with silences and smiles.

Abu I want to know who you are and who you were. I want to tell you I love you. And that I am grateful for you.
