The map below was developed in the support of a MS Research project on Carnivore Diversity by camera trapping in the Central Karakoram National Park(CKNP).
We provide special rates for students and academics undertaking important research within Pakistan and abroad. Prices of maps for use in academic studies start at PKR 3000 or 20$ per map.

After devastating floods in 2011, Sindh Government through an amendment in Sindh Irrigation Act 1879, made it clear that encroachments on waterways should be removed immediately.It was further stated in amendment that if there was any court verdict,stay order, any grant or lease it should be considered null and void. If any person is found encroaching government land within seven days after passing of this law the penalty could be as high as 10 years imprisonment and Rs.1 million fine.
Sadly 10 years after the passage of this law not a single article of the law was implemented and not a single encroachment was cleared. Massive floods have occured due to these encroachments after 2020 monsoon rains.
