Legal Rights Forum ALP/NFE Center at Kashmore in collebration with Literacy & NFE Sindh is engaging adolescent children in extracurricular activities to promote enhanced learning, personality development, and positive behavioral change. These activities are designed to improve students’ confidence, communication skills, teamwork, creativity, and social interaction through educational games, group discussions, sports and art. The initiative aims to create a healthy learning environment that supports both academic growth and character building among children.

Second follow up meeting with members of the Standing Committee on Local Government, including Moeed Anwar, Mahesh Kumar, Anil Kumar and other MPAs from Muttahida Qaumi Movement. We presented four demands from civil society for strengthening the local government system. They will present these demands in the assembly.

The Directorate of Literacy & NFE Sindhy& Non-Formal Education (L&NFE), Sindh successfully convened the 1st Quarterly Review Meeting with Implementing Partners of Phase-II and concerned District Education Officers (Literacy) on 5th May 2026. The meeting reviewed the quarterly progress of 1,380 Non-Formal Education (NFE) Centers established under Phase-II to expand access to quality education for Out-of-School Children (OOSC) and learners across Sindh.
The meeting was chaired by Director L&NFE Sindh, Mr. Abdul Jabbar Mari, who conducted a comprehensive review of performance data related to NFE centers, learners, and facilitators. He emphasized the importance of regularly updating and maintaining accurate records on the NFE-MIS Dashboard to ensure transparency, effective monitoring, and improved service delivery.
During the meeting, Malik Tahir Iqbal Arain Advocate, CEO of Legal Rights Forum, highlighted the progress and facilities available at all NFE Centers managed by LRF. He shared that the centers are equipped with essential facilities to provide a conducive learning environment, including washrooms (in most centers), safe drinking water through water coolers, stationery, notebooks, textbooks, cleanliness arrangements, and floor mats for learners. He further stated that while most centers meet the required standards, a few minor infrastructure gaps, particularly related to washrooms, are being addressed on a priority basis.
LRF has established 80 ALP/NFE Centers, including 40 centers in Jacobabad and 40 centers in Kashmore District. A total of 2,452 learners are enrolled, including 1,123 girls and 1,329 boys. LRF has also successfully completed the installation of signboards at all 80 NFE Centers to ensure proper identification and visibility of project sites.
