After Islamabad, all of the nation's passport offices have begun issuing e-passports.
In relation to the fee schedule, the Directorate General of Immigration and Passports has also released a notification.
The charge for a 36-page, 5-year e-passport is fixed at Rs9,000; for a 36-page, urgent e-passport, it is fixed at Rs15,000; for a 72-page, standard e-passport, it is fixed at Rs16,500; and for an urgent e-passport, it is fixed at Rs27,000.
The standard charge for a 10-year passport with 36 pages is set at Rs13,500, and the urgent fee would be Rs22,500.
Normal passport fees will continue at Rs24750 for a 72-page, 10-year passport and Rs40500 for an urgent e-passport.
