The Third Annual General Body Meeting (AGM) of Ghulkin Local Agency for Development (GLAD)

The third Annual General Body Meeting (AGM) of Ghulkin Local Agency for Development (GLAD) was successfully held on 3rd August 2025 in Ghulkin. GLAD was established in 2022 and is officially registered with the Government of Gilgit-Baltistan under the Social Welfare Act of 1961.

The meeting commenced with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and a Farman of Mawlana Hazar Imam Shah Karim Al Hussaini.

Mr. Karim Rehman, the Honorary Finance Secretary of GLAD, presented the Annual Financial Report for the fiscal year. Following this, Mr. Gul Baig, the Founding President of GLAD, presented the General Progress Report for the period of June 2024 to June 2025.

The event witnessed the participation of over 200 community members, including local leaders and stakeholders. The community appreciated and endorsed both the financial and progress reports, expressing satisfaction with the transparency, development work, and achievements of GLAD over the past year.

Members of the community and leaders of the Jamat took the opportunity to share their feedback, commend the efforts of the GLAD team, and pledged their continued support for future initiatives. They recognized the team's outstanding performance and reaffirmed their commitment to work collectively for the betterment and success of the organization.
