This year’s Juloos-e-Ashura in Gapa Valley, Nagar, carried a special meaning. A few years ago, the late Yawar Abbas took the first step to begin this juloos with only a handful of people. His vision was to keep the memory of Karbala alive in his valley. Today, just a few months after his passing, we witnessed thousands join together in his memory — turning his small beginning into a powerful tradition. May Allah bless his soul, and may this juloos continue to unite hearts for generations to come.
