Food Department District Gilgit

Under the chairmanship of Assistant Commissioner Jaglote Wasim Abbas, an important meeting was held today with AD Food Gilgit, Chief Officer District Council, and all relevant field staff to review and streamline matters related to food safety and regulatory compliance.

During the meeting, AD Food Gilgit highlighted the importance of proper registration of food units, hotels, restaurants, and other food businesses to ensure compliance with legal requirements and hygiene standards. Detailed discussions were carried out regarding the effective implementation of food safety regulations and strengthening monitoring mechanisms to safeguard public health.

Key decisions were taken to simplify and expedite the registration process while ensuring transparency and accountability. The participants agreed on a coordinated strategy to facilitate business owners in completing their registrations and to take strict action against unregistered and non-compliant units.

AD Food Gilgit emphasized the need for regular field inspections, awareness campaigns among stakeholders, and strict adherence to food safety standards. The meeting also stressed that no compromise will be made on food quality, hygiene, and consumer safety.

Assistant Commissioner Jaglote Wasim Abbas appreciated the coordinated efforts of the concerned departments and assured full administrative support for the effective implementation of food safety and regulatory measures.

This initiative reflects the administration’s collective commitment to promoting a healthy environment, encouraging lawful business practices, and protecting the well-being of the public.

اس کارروائی کا مقصد فوڈ ایکٹ 2022 کے مؤثر نفاذ کو یقینی بنانا ہے تاکہ عوام کو معیاری، صحت بخش خوراک اور صاف ستھرا ماحول فراہم کیا جا سکے۔ دورانِ معائنہ صفائی ستھرائی اور معیارِ خوراک کو بہتر بنانے کے لیے متعلقہ یونٹس کو ضروری ہدایات بھی جاری کی گئیں۔

مزید برآں، فوڈ ایکٹ 2022 کے تحت رجسٹریشن کے عمل کو جاری رکھتے ہوئے مختلف فوڈ پوائنٹس کو سرٹیفکیٹس بھی جاری کیے گئے، جن میں:

اور ویوڈل واٹر پلانٹ کو بھی سرٹیفکیٹ جاری کیا گیا۔

کارروائی کے دوران مختلف ہوٹلز، جنرل اسٹورز، بیکرز اور سویٹس شاپس کا معائنہ کیا گیا۔ ایس او پیز پر عملدرآمد نہ کرنے پر متعدد دکانوں پر جرمانے عائد کیے گئے۔

یہ کارروائیاں فوڈ انسپکٹرز تنویر حسین، سبتین عباس اور عدنان احمد نے سرانجام دیں۔
