💕Adobo sa Luyang Dilaw💕

One of Papi’s favorites. He used to brag about this when I was younger. I am so glad I was able to experience this “legendary” dish from my Lola Poleng (his Mother). Even more blessed that she was able to hand me down the recipe.

This heirloom recipe is one for the books..a healthier version (I guess💕). The meat (chicken or pork) is cooked with vinegar and luyang dilaw (turmeric), hence, the yellowish color. Time to break away from the norm. Not your typical adobo but definitely worth a try👌👌
