PIPS TALK

John 15:1-4
1 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener.
2 He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.
3 You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you.
4 Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.

We often say, “trust yourself,” but we forget where our strength truly comes from. This reminds us to place our trust in God—the One who can carry us through whatever we are facing right now. Trust that He will sustain you, that He will not forsake you, and that He is present even in the middle of your struggle. When your strength runs out, His does not. When your understanding falls short, His wisdom remains.

Hindi madadaya ang fruit—lumalabas lang ito kapag tayo ay tunay na nakakabit sa Panginoon. Real fruit is not produced by effort alone, but by intimacy with Him. The closer you are to God, the more His character is seen in your life. So instead of striving to prove yourself, stay connected to Him. Because when you trust Him fully and remain in Him daily, the fruit will naturally grow—and it will reflect a life that is truly rooted in Christ.

"God’s desire since Adam and Eve is for us to abide in Him—to stay connected to His Word from the very beginning. Trusting Him produces real, visible fruit—especially the fruit of the Holy Spirit. Like a tree planted by water, we will bear fruit in His perfect time if we remain rooted in Him.
Loving God is our response to His love, and it shows in how we live and love others. Just like we can’t function without connection today, we also can’t thrive without Him. God calls us to be still and know that He is God. In Him alone do we find true peace and stillness." - Pastor Jeff
