💡 What can you say about Salmon Bank Rural Bank?

This is a question I get a lot recently so I decided to research it and here’s what I found out.

Salmon Bank (formerly Rural Bank of Sta. Rosa) has been operating since 1963. It’s regulated by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) and deposits are PDIC insured up to ₱1 million per depositor. It simply means that your money is safe.

One of their best products is their Time Deposit. Here’s a sample computation based on their posted rates:

✅If you deposit ₱100,000 for 6 months at 6% per annum, you’ll earn ₱3,000 interest.

✅If you deposit ₱500,000 for 12 months at 6% per annum, you’ll earn ₱30,000 interest.

✅If you deposit ₱1,000,000 for 24 months at 6.5% per annum, you’ll earn ₱130,000 interest.

Take note that the interest earned is subject to 20% withholding tax.
