Today, we celebrate the ones who loved us first. Those who saw us make our first mistakes, taught us our first lessons, and helped us to grow. You are the foundation that keeps us standing where we are now.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there—a parent, a friend, and even the ones who act as one for us—your love is what keeps us going. Thank you for all the hard work, sacrifices, and the effort you have shown.

"𝑲𝒂𝒊𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒏 𝒌𝒂𝒚𝒐 𝒏𝒈 𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒐." — 𝐌𝐬. 𝐉𝐨𝐝𝐢 𝐒𝐭𝐚. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚, 𝐊𝐞𝐲𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫

Over the course of two meaningful days, our organization had the incredible opportunity to take part in the recently concluded 𝟯𝟵𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗔𝗣𝗝𝗔 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 with the theme “𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝘀𝘆𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆: 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝗮𝗹𝘀” held at SMX Convention Center for Day 1 and De La Salle University for Day 2.

From inspiring plenary sessions to interactive workshops, each moment was filled with valuable insights that deepened our understanding of the field and strengthened our passion for pursuing psychology.

Beyond the lectures and activities, the convention also gave us the chance to connect, build friendships, and create lasting memories. From traveling together to sharing experiences before, during, and after the event; these moments made the journey and experience even more meaningful.

We are truly grateful for the opportunity to represent ACAP and be part of such an enriching experience. As we move forward, we carry with us the knowledge, inspiration, and motivation to grow not only as students, but as future professionals ready to make a difference.

After months of preparation, ACAP has officially launched the 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐂.𝐀.𝐑.𝐄. (𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧), which aims to train and equip student volunteers with the necessary skills to serve and provide support for exceptional learners.

Mr. Raymund Mindanao has given a broader meaning to Special Education (SPED), emphasizing its need to be individually planned, systematically implemented, and is a carefully evaluated instruction. In this field, one size does not fit all, 𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘳 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘴 𝘢 𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘲𝘶𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘤𝘳𝘢𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘯 𝘵𝘰 𝘶𝘱𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘰𝘣𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘤𝘭𝘦𝘴 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘧𝘶𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘱𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘯 𝘴𝘰𝘤𝘪𝘦𝘵𝘺.

With the conclusion of the first session, volunteers are left with a better understanding of how SPED works and the disorders that different learners are living with. Moveover, being equipped with the knowledge of how to assist them is an important step in building skills that are vital for future psychologists to have.

This is not a mere project, 𝙞𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙖𝙣 𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙬𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙥 𝙚𝙭𝙘𝙚𝙥𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙣 𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙚𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙨𝙪𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙗𝙤𝙩𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙛𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙚𝙣𝙫𝙞𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨.
