FOR: SOUTHWEST MONSOON
ISSUED AT: 11:00 AM 2016 August 14
The southwest monsoon will continue to affect Luzon. Moderate to occasionally heavy rains will be experienced over Benguet, Bataan, Pampanga, Bulacan, Tarlac, Zambales, Metro Manila and Ilocos Region. Residents are advised to keep monitoring and be vigilant on the possible flashflood and landslides.
Meanwhile, light to moderate rains with isolated thunderstorms over the rest of Luzon.
The public and disaster risk reduction and management councils concerned are advised to take the necessary precautionary measures. The next update on this weather system will be incorporated in the Public Weather Forecast at 5:00 PM Today while the next advisory will be issued at 11:00 AM tomorrow.
