As of 10:30 PM today, Tropical Storm MEKKHALA has officially entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) and has been assigned the domestic name . 🇵🇭

Based on current forecasts, is expected to move generally northwestward over the Philippine Sea and may continue to enhance the Southwest Monsoon, bringing periods of rain and thunderstorms over parts of the country.

🌧️ Residents in areas prone to flooding and landslides are advised to remain alert and continue monitoring official weather bulletins from PAGASA.
