𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞: In celebration of Mother’s Day, the personnel of Coast Guard Station Romblon extend their heartfelt greetings and appreciation to all beloved mothers and wives whose unconditional love, sacrifices, and unwavering support continue to inspire their families and communities.

This special occasion serves as a tribute to all mothers who play an important role in nurturing their children and supporting their loved ones, especially those who stand beside Coast Guard personnel in the fulfillment of their duties and responsibilities.

To all mothers, thank you for your endless love, strength, care, and dedication. Your sacrifices and guidance are truly appreciated and celebrated not only today but every day.

𝐉𝐎𝐈𝐍𝐓 𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐈-𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐀𝐋 𝐋𝐎𝐆𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐈𝐍 𝐒𝐀𝐍 𝐅𝐄𝐑𝐍𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐎, 𝐑𝐎𝐌𝐁𝐋𝐎𝐍

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞: Coast Guard Sub Station (CGSS) Cajidiocan, Coast Guard Sub Station (CGSS) Magdiwang, and the DENR Sibuyan Sub-Station conducted a joint anti-illegal logging operation that resulted in the confiscation of six (6) pieces of abandoned undocumented lumber and round logs at Sitio Punong, Brgy. Agtiwa, San Fernando, Romblon on 07 May 2026.

The recovered forest products, consisting of Bangkal and Ilang-Ilang species, totaled 662.2 board feet with an estimated market value of Php 26,488.00. The confiscated items were seized for violation of Section 77 of Presidential Decree No. 705, otherwise known as the Revised Forestry Code of the Philippines.

The confiscated lumber and round logs were subsequently turned over to the DENR impounding area in Brgy. Tampayan, Magdiwang, Romblon for safekeeping and proper disposition.
