The Scouts Royale Brotherhood International Service Fraternity and Sorority, Incorporated "Sharing this important information to raise awareness about the Anti-Hazing Law in the Philippines. Hazing, defined as any initiation practice involving physical harm, psychological abuse, or humiliation, is strictly prohibited. Republic Act No. 8049, enacted in 1995, regulates initiation rites, holds members and officers criminally liable for injuries or death, and requires prior notice to school authorities. This was further strengthened by Republic Act No. 11053 (Anti-Hazing Act of 2018), which completely bans all forms of hazing, expands liability, and imposes heavier penalties to ensure student safety and promote safe organizational practices. Let's work together to end this dangerous practice.
