Kick-off Leadership Program for the Next-Gen Leaders of Northern Water Works

From October 3-6, 2024, I had the honor of conducting the “Developing the Leader Within You” program for the next-generation leaders of Northern Water Works in Bacolod and Iloilo. This training served as the kick-off session for a continuing leadership program aimed at empowering the future leaders of the company.

The program, inspired by John Maxwell’s leadership teachings, focused on building a solid foundation for leadership by exploring critical concepts like self-awareness, visionary leadership, and team empowerment. Participants engaged in interactive activities, group discussions, and real-life scenarios that challenged them to think strategically and lead with integrity.

This leadership initiative is designed to help these emerging leaders develop the skills they need to drive the company forward, make informed decisions, and create a culture of collaboration and excellence. By the end of this kick-off session, the next-gen leaders of Northern Water Works were ready to step into their roles with confidence and a clear vision for the future.

Developing the Leader Within You: Training for Bilrey Construction

On September 12-13, 2022, I had the opportunity to conduct a powerful “Developing the Leader Within You” training for Bilrey Construction, attended by 50 of their middle management team members. This session, echoing the teachings of John Maxwell, focused on nurturing the leadership potential within each participant.

Through a series of interactive discussions, group activities, and leadership exercises, we explored key principles from Maxwell’s philosophy, such as influential leadership, servant leadership, and the importance of building trust and respect within teams. The training was designed to help participants recognize their own leadership potential and empower them to inspire and motivate their teams effectively.

Key activities included self-assessment exercises to identify leadership strengths and areas for growth, as well as practical applications to help managers develop a vision, set goals, and foster collaboration. By the end of the training, each participant was better equipped to lead with confidence, purpose, and passion.
