𝐎𝐍 𝐒𝐂𝐎𝐏𝐄 🔎 | DEVCON Laguna x SUI Code Camp 2026: Level Up Tech, Level Up You

The DEVCON Laguna x SUI Code Camp 2026, entitled "Level Up Tech, Level Up You," was held on May 29, 2026, at the 4th Floor of PUP CITE Building in Biñan, Laguna. The event gathered approximately 80 registered participants interested in Web3, blockchain technology, and software development.

The program started at around 10:30 AM with the Developers Connect seminar and introductory discussions about DEVCON Laguna and the Sui blockchain network. The seminar was led by John Danmel Laranga, OIC-President of DEVCON Laguna, while the workshop was facilitated by Zyrus Alvez, Code Camp and Summit Lead of DEVCON Laguna and President of the AWS Student Builders Group–UPHSL. They shared valuable insights on blockchain technology, the Move programming language, and Web3 development.

The event also included the oath-taking ceremony and document signing of DEVCON Laguna officers to formally recognize their leadership roles. In the afternoon, participants joined a hands-on workshop where they learned how to create and deploy smart contracts on the Sui blockchain network.

To make the event more engaging, raffle draws and giveaways were conducted throughout the program. Registered participants had the chance to win various prizes, adding excitement and encouraging active participation during the sessions.

Overall, the event successfully provided participants with practical knowledge, technical skills, and opportunities to connect with fellow students and developers, promoting learning and innovation within the local tech community.
