βMay positive ba ang Iran War sa Solar Industry?β π€
π Short answer: YES β MALAKING YES.
π Dahil sa Iran war, tumataas ang presyo ng oil at gas worldwide
β‘οΈ Electricity cost tumataas
β‘οΈ Meralco rates possible tumaas pa lalo
π Oil prices already spiking above $100/barrel
π Energy supply disrupted (LNG, oil shipments)
β‘ Ano ang effect nito sa atin?
β Mahal na kuryente
β Unstable power supply
β Mas mataas na monthly bills
β
Pero sa Solar? GOOD NEWS π₯
β Mas mabilis ROI ng solar
β Mas malaki savings
β Mas dumadami nag-iinvest sa solar
π Globally, countries are shifting to solar dahil sa energy crisis
π Solar = protection sa rising electricity cost
π‘ Reality ngayon:
Kung dati:
πΈ β±10ββ±12/kWh β ngayon possible β±14ββ±18/kWh
π Meaning:
π Payback ng solar = MAS BILIS
π Savings = MAS MALAKI
π Imagine mo ito:
βοΈ Sarili mong power
β‘ Hindi ka apektado sa taas ng oil
π‘ Stable kahit may crisis
π MESSAGE NGAYON:
βHabang tumataas ang kuryente, mas nagiging valuable ang solar.β
π Hindi na ito luho
π Ito na ang PROTECTION mo sa future

For decades, critics claimed solar panels wear out quickly and are not built to last. Real world data now tells a very different story. Solar systems installed in the 1980s and 1990s are still operating today, many of them producing most of their original power output.
The idea that solar panels βexpireβ after 25 years is a misunderstanding. That number refers to warranty periods, not actual operational life. In reality, panels degrade slowly, often at less than one percent per year. This means they continue generating reliable electricity long after warranties end.
After 30 to 40 years of operation, many panels still deliver around 70 to 80 percent of their initial capacity. They do this without fuel, without moving parts, and with minimal maintenance. Few energy technologies can claim that level of longevity and reliability.
Compare this to conventional power infrastructure. Fossil fuel plants require constant fuel supply, expensive maintenance, and frequent component replacements. Vehicles, machines, and industrial equipment rarely last this long without major overhauls. Solar panels simply sit there, quietly producing power year after year.β‘βοΈ

ATTENTION, MERALCO CUSTOMERS!
Meralco customers are set to face over P31 billion in additional charges starting March following the Energy Regulatory Commissionβs approval of claims by several power producers.
The ERC has authorized the collection of an additional P0.2816 per kilowatt-hour for 12 to 36 months or until the total amount is fully recovered.
This will be billed just in time for the onset of the summer season, a period when electricity rates usually climb due to high demand caused by hotter temperatures. | via Brix Lelis

Australia has embarked on a record-breaking project: constructing the worldβs longest undersea cable, stretching over 4,200 kilometers, to deliver renewable solar energy to Singapore. Known as the Australia-Asia PowerLink, this project will connect massive solar farms in Australiaβs Northern Territory with Southeast Asia.
The project will generate up to 20 gigawatts (GW) of solar power, supported by one of the worldβs largest battery storage systems. The undersea cable will then transmit up to 3.2 GW of clean electricity directly to Singapore, covering about 15% of its total energy needs.
This innovation highlights how energy trade is shifting from fossil fuels to renewables. Instead of exporting coal or gas, Australia will export sunlight converted into power, helping Singapore cut emissions and secure long-term energy security.
The project also sets a global precedent for cross-border renewable energy cooperation, showing how countries can share resources to accelerate the transition to a carbon-neutral future.
