Ramdrake

Life is not a chain of pleasant happenings, nor a crown of constant happiness.
As a wise man knows, it is forged in suffering,
tempered by endurance, and proven through perseverance
to stand firm with nothing but what one already has.

Walk the long road, even when it is paved with pain,
for the wise do not fear hardship that teaches the soul.
They choose the path that wounds today,
knowing it will heal them with joy and wisdom tomorrow.

For fleeting pleasure is a sweet lie
it smiles in the moment, yet leaves sorrow and ruin behind.
But the one who endures finds a deeper light:
not borrowed happiness, but lasting truth, life, and peace.

Seek God first, and all things shall be added.
