𝗜𝗸𝗮𝘁𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗴𝗼 𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗱𝗯𝗶𝘆𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼: 𝐊𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐧(𝙂𝙖𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙩𝙚 𝙎𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙮)
Sa ikatlong linggo ng Adbiyento, inaanyayahan tayong magalak sapagkat malapit na ang pagdating ng Panginoon. Tinatawag itong Gaudete Sunday, mula sa salitang Latin na gaudete na nangangahulugang “magalak.” Sa gitna ng paghahanda at pagsisisi, pinapaalala sa atin ng Simbahan na ang ating pag-asa kay Kristo ay pinagmumulan ng tunay na kagalakan. Nawa’y makita ang kagalakang ito sa ating pananampalataya, sa paglilingkod sa kapwa, at sa pagtitiwala sa Diyos na dumarating upang iligtas tayo.

Ang mga ito ay magsisilbing gabay para sa mga pagbasa sa gaganaping Anticipated Mass at Sunday Mass.

𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 – "𝓟𝓮𝓪𝓬𝓮"

As we enter the Second Sunday of Advent, we are invited to prepare our hearts for the coming of Christ, the Prince of Peace. In a world often filled with noise, fear, and division, Advent reminds us that true peace begins with God’s presence dwelling within us. Let us follow the call to repentance and hope, making straight the paths for the Lord. May this season teach us to be instruments of Christ’s peace within our homes, our communities, and the world.

"ᴛʜᴇ ɢɪᴠᴇʀ ᴏꜰ ᴇᴠᴇʀʏ ɢᴏᴏᴅ ᴀɴᴅ ᴘᴇʀꜰᴇᴄᴛ ɢɪꜰᴛ ʜᴀꜱ ᴄᴀʟʟᴇᴅ ᴜᴘᴏɴ ᴜꜱ ᴛᴏ ᴍɪᴍɪᴄ ɢᴏᴅꜱ ɢɪᴠɪɴɢ, ʙʏ ɢʀᴀᴄᴇ, ᴛʜʀᴏᴜɢʜ ꜰᴀɪᴛʜ, ᴀɴᴅ ᴛʜɪꜱ ɪꜱ ɴᴏᴛ ᴏꜰ ᴏᴜʀꜱᴇʟᴠᴇꜱ."

Today we honor St. Nicholas of Myra, a faithful bishop known for his deep compassion, generosity to the poor, and defense of the true faith. Through his secret acts of charity and loving care for those in need, he reflected the mercy of Christ and taught the world the joy of selfless giving. May his life inspire us to share generously, love sincerely, and serve humbly, especially the poor and the forgotten.

St. Nicholas of Myra was a 4th-century bishop of Myra, in present-day Turkey, widely loved for his holiness, courage, and generosity. From a young age, he used his inheritance to help the poor in secret, especially families in great need. He was a strong defender of the Christian faith, faithfully guiding his people during times of persecution and helping preserve true doctrine in the early Church. Through the many miracles attributed to him, St. Nicholas became known as a protector of children, sailors, travelers, the poor, and all who seek justice. His life of humility, charity, and steadfast faith continues to inspire acts of kindness and selfless love today.

𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝘁. 𝗡𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝘆𝗿𝗮
✠ O good St. Nicholas, you who are the joy of the children, put in my heart the spirit of childhood, which the gospel speaks, and teach me to seed happiness around me. You, whose feast prepares us for Christmas, open my faith to the mystery of God made man.
You good bishop and shepherd, help me to find my place in the Church and inspire the Church to be faithful to the Gospel.
O good Saint Nicholas, patron of children, sailors and the helpless, watch over those who pray to Jesus, your Lord and theirs, as well as over those who humble themselves before you.
Bring us all in reverence to the Holy Child of Bethlehem, when true joy and peace are found. Amen. ✠

𝗜𝗸𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗴𝗼 𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗱𝗯𝗶𝘆𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼: 𝐊𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐚𝐧.
Sa ikalawang linggo ng Adbiyento, tayo ay inaanyayahang magnilay sa kapayapaan na nagmumula sa Diyos, kapayapaang higit sa kawalan ng gulo, kundi isang pusong puno ng tiwala at pag-asa. Sa liwanag ng ikalawang kandila, pinapaalalahanan tayo na ang tunay na kapayapaan ay dumarating kapag binubuksan natin ang ating puso kay Kristo at inihahanda ang ating buhay sa Kanyang pagdating. Nawa’y magsimula ang kapayapaang ito sa ating sarili, umabot sa ating pamilya, at umagos sa buong pamayanan.

Ang mga ito ay magsisilbing gabay para sa mga pagbasa sa gaganaping Anticipated Mass at Sunday Mass.
