- Faith is extremely important.
* Our faith is not a mere intellectual assent; it is the bedrock of our relationship with God.
Pleasing God: (Hebrews 11:6)

Believers must:
A. Living by faith:
(Habaukuk 2:4, Hebrews 10:38-39)
We are called to a life of dependence on God, not on our own strength.

B. Actions and obedience:
Prayer (James 5:15)
Forgiveness (Luke 17:3-6)
All acts of obedience (Hebrews 11)

C. Foundation of hope:
The foundation of our hope in Christ.(Hebrews 11:1)
It plays a crucial role. Any fluctuation in our faith should prompt serious self-reflection.

Why following Jesus doesn't remove life's struggles

1. Struggles are Part of a Broken World
-Life in the Spirit
-Present suffering vs Future glory
(Roma 8:22)

2. Struggles Produce Growth
-Perseverance
-Maturity
(James 1:2-3)

3. Struggles Train us to Depend on God
-God gave grace to endure it
(2 Corinthians 12:9)

4. Struggles Remind us this World is not our Home
-Christian endure because we have eternal hope
-Our real home is with God
(Hebrews 13:14)

Conclusion:
So why do Christians still have struggles?
-Because we live in a broken world
-Because God is growing us
-Because He is teaching us dependence
-Because this world is not our home
