The Resilience, Innovation, and Sustainability for Empowered Youth (RISE) Project of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) with the Young Menโs Christian Association (YMCA) of Albay, Inc. and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), is now opening applications for its upcoming training series.
The RISE training program will enable selected participants to:
โข Deepen their understanding of climate issues, environmental laws, Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) and migration.
โข Learn from experts, and gain practical exposure and mentorship
โข Implement innovative and sustainable environmental projects
To apply, you must be:
โข 18-30 years old from Albay or Sorsogon
โข affiliated with an existing organization (e.g., youth group, school club, faith-based group, community association, NGO)
โข residing in the province and able to attend-in-person sessions
โข willing to commit to the full duration of the training series
Please note: Slots are limited. A maximum of 2 participants per organization is allowed. Applications will undergo a selection process, and shortlisted participants will receive a confirmation email.
