𝗕𝗣𝗦𝗨, 𝗕𝗔𝗥𝗠𝗣𝗣 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗡𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗣 𝗗𝗘𝗠𝗢𝗦 𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗦𝗟𝗔𝗨𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚, 𝗧𝗢 𝗕𝗥𝗚𝗬. 𝗖𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗟 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦

Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU) has collaborated with the Bataan Association of Rabbit Meat Producers and Processors (BARMPP) to conduct Training on Rabbit Slaughtering and Meat Processing last October 22, 2022 at Happy Hares Farm Brgy. Central, Balanga City Bataan.

Mr. Elton Salenga, BARMPP President and Mr. Jonathan Rodrigues, officer of BARMPP, opened the event by introducing their association and a list of facts about rabbits. They also shared about the benefits and products they can get from raising the animal. Beneficiaries also were taught with the basic knowledge on sexing, proper handling and breeding. Furthermore, the trainers provided the students with management and technical skills on rabbit raising.

An actual demo on how to properly slaughter a rabbit was demonstrated by Mr. Elton and Mr. Resty Sambat. Moreover, making of processed products from the animal such as skinless longganisa, and embutido as well as making lechon rabbit was also provided for the beneficiaries. Before the program ended, the BARMPP officers willingly answered all the questions of the students. Meanwhile, Mr. Jaime P. Javier, owner of Happy Hares Farm expressed his gratitude to all who attended and supported in the training.
