Successful Turnover of Brand-New Patrol Vehicle to Tagbilaran City Police Station
Enhanced Mobility, Stronger Public Safety!
The Philippine National Police continued to strengthen its operational capability with the successful turnover of a brand-new patrol vehicle to the Tagbilaran City Police Station on April 26, 2026.
The turnover ceremony was held at Camp Francisco Dagohoy, headquarters of the Bohol Police Provincial Office, where a 4x4 Mitsubishi Triton GLX patrol vehicle was formally awarded to further enhance police mobility and responsiveness.
The activity was graced by the presence of PBGEN ARNOLD EVANGELISTA ABAD, Regional Director of Police Regional Office 7, who personally attended the turnover ceremony, demonstrating the PNP leadership’s strong support for strengthening field units.
This significant development was made possible through the leadership and support of PGEN JOSE MELENCIO NARTATEZ Jr., Chief of the Philippine National Police, and PCOL PATRICIO DEGAY Jr., Provincial Director of BPPO.
The unit was formally received by Mayor Jane C. Yap and the Chief of Police of Tagbilaran City PLTCOL JOEY MALLARE BICOY, symbolizing the strong partnership between the local government unit and the Philippine National Police in ensuring public safety and effective law enforcement.
The newly issued patrol vehicle significantly boosted the operational readiness of Tagbilaran CPS, particularly in patrol operations, emergency response, and crime prevention efforts in the city.
The Tagbilaran City Police Station expressed its heartfelt gratitude to the PNP leadership and BPPO for their continued support and commitment to strengthening police capability at the local level.
This milestone reflected a shared vision of a safer and more secure community through improved mobility, responsiveness, and service delivery.

Duha ka drug suspek ang nadakpan sa usa ka buy-bust ug anti-illegal drug operation sa Purok 3, Barangay Dampas niadtong 12:56 sa buntag, Abril 27, 2026, diin nasakmit ang 1,096.9 gramos nga gidudahang shabu nga adunay kantidad nga ₱7,458,920.00 base sa Standard Drug Price (SDP).
Ang mga nadakpan giila nga sila si "Antonio" 48 anyos, minyo, walay trabaho, gi-ilang High Value Individual (HVI) Drug Watchlist residente sa San Isidro, Maribojoc, Bohol; ug si "Jude Michael", 20 anyos, single, mangingisda, gi-ilang Street Level Individual (SLI) Drug Watchlist residente sa Barangay Ubujan, Tagbilaran City.
Ang operasyon gipangunahan sa City Drug Enforcement Team (CDET) sa Tagbilaran City Police Station ubos sa pagpangulo ni PLT Greg Reyes, ubos sa direktang pagdumala ni PLTCOL Joey Malarre Bicoy, OIC sa TCPS, kaabag ang nagkadaiyang law enforcement units sama sa RID 7, RPDEU 7, RID 8 Tracker Team, PDEG SOU 7, PIU/PDEU BPPO, Bohol Maritime Police Station, ug PDEA Bohol Satellite Office.
Ang operasyon nakapahimo sa pagkarekober sa usa (1) ka vacuum-sealed nga transparent cellophane nga adunay Chinese markings ug usa (1) ka heat-sealed nga plastic sachet nga dunay sulod nga puti nga kristal nga gidudahang shabu.
Ang duha ka suspek anaa na karon sa kustodiya sa kapolisan ug giandam na ang tukmang kaso ilawom sa Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 samtang ang ebidensiya gisumite ngadto sa Bohol Forensics Unit para sa examination ug custody.
