Fernando Zóbel de Ayala is promoting rescue dog friendly spaces in Ayala Malls as part of his continuing advocacy for animal welfare and responsible pet care.

The initiative aims to create more inclusive and pet friendly environments for rescued and stray dogs while encouraging compassion and responsible treatment of animals in public spaces.

Vogue magazine has filed a lawsuit against Dogue, the dog-centered fashion magazine which uses similar branding as the iconic vogue covers.

Condé Nast, Vogue’s parent company alleges that Dogue uses Vogue images without permission, infringes on their brand trademarks, and that the other publication is confusing to their costumers. Vogue also prints a yearly special dog edition entitled “Dogue.”

The Editor-In-Chief and creator of Dogue, Olga Portnaya, gave a statement saying she believes this lawsuit is part of a larger issues for independent artists and that she hopes to fight it on behalf of independent artists.
