The Philippine .NET Users Group (PHINUG) and Microsoft Philippines presents another installment of MSDN Sessions, a monthly series of weekday after-office hours talks for software development professionals and enthusiasts of Microsoft developer technologies.
For this month we'll have:
Michael John Peña, MSP Alumnus from UNIVERSITY OF SANTO TOMAS and erstwhile PHINUG volunteer, will talk about Developing Universal Apps and REST APIs using Visual Studio Online. Michael's talk will let us explore the Visual Studio Online API and maximize code sharing between Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8 development - through Universal Apps.
Allan Spartacus Mangune, MVP for ASP.NET/IIS, will discuss about Continuous delivery and test-driven database development. His talk tackles two important questions about software development: How do you make sure that a large application with hundreds of moving parts works as advertised whenever you commit code? How do you know that the code still works? Allan's talk will answer these and more.
Edu Lorenzo, another MVP for ASP.NET/IIS and working for the 2014 Microsoft Philippine partner of the year Barhead, invites you to take a tour of the new development and deployment models for creating apps for Office 365 and SharePoint Online in his talk Introduction to Development in Office 365.
The event will be held on September 25, 2014, 6:30 PM, at the Visayas and Mindanao Rooms, Microsoft Philippines, 8th Floor, 6750 Ayala Ave., Makati. Food and drinks will be served at the event.
See you there!
