We suffer the consequences of our chosen leader. Watching Beauty and The Beast again. When Mrs. Potts said, "We did nothing." rings so true when it comes to leadership. We suffer alongside our leaders but sadly, most of the time we are the recipient of punishment while they till continue to live a lavish life. So you see, Beauty and the Beast isn't a romance, it's a tragedy of our social condition.
