Prerequisite: All three on the battlefield. Mindslaver must be on the battlefield as the legendary artifact to copy. You need 4 mana to activate each Mindslaver copy. You must control at least one artifact to enable Thopter Spy Network's trigger each upkeep Mindslaver itself qualifies.

HOW IT WORKS

Step 1 — Thopter Spy Network Creates a Token at Your Upkeep.
At the beginning of your upkeep, Thopter Spy Network triggers: create a 1/1 blue Thopter artifact creature token with flying. You now have an artifact creature token on the battlefield.

Step 2 — Shuri Turns the Thopter Into a Mindslaver Copy.
Activate Shuri's ability targeting the Thopter token and targeting Mindslaver as the legendary artifact to copy. Create a non-legendary token copy of Mindslaver. Because this copy is not legendary, it sidesteps the legend rule so you can keep the original Mindslaver in play.

Step 3 — Activate the Mindslaver Copy and Lock an Opponent.
Upkeep: Thopter Token Created → Shuri: Exile Thopter, Create Mindslaver Copy → Pay 4: Activate Copy → Control Opponent's Next Turn → Repeat

Each upkeep gives you a fresh Mindslaver activation. You control one opponent on each of their turns indefinitely. Direct their resources, spells, and attacks against your other opponents. The original Mindslaver stays on the battlefield to be copied again next upkeep.

Mono-blue and Shuri, Wakandan Inventor as commander. Shuri's core identity is transforming artifact tokens into powerful legendary artifacts Mindslaver is the sharpest target in the format. Thopter Spy Network is a natural fit in any artifact-heavy blue deck and provides both the token engine and a steady stream of aerial pressure before the combo is assembled.
