This is the second renovation for this cafe since it opened in 2012. The 2024 renovation or The Plaza Cafe version 2.0 features a modern Filipino tropical identity.

The space is anchored by a natural material palette—rich wood tones, woven rattan, and soft neutral walls—creating an atmosphere that feels both grounded and inviting. The wood lattice divider referencing tropical flora adds texture and depth without fully enclosing the space.

Seating elements highlight local craftsmanship - woven solihiya chairs paired with locally sourced stained wooden tables. The combination of handcrafted textures and streamlined silhouettes strikes that balance between traditional and modern.

Above, the exposed wooden ceiling slats with integrated track lighting keeps the space contemporary.
Greenery is also thoughtfully placed throughout for more of that tropical vibe.
