Another project Restore & custom build done🤘

Specialized Hardrock - 1999 🍒 Rebuilt into modern Klunker/ Bmx street setup‼️

📌Size 19 frame the rider was 5'9 foot tall

Initially Restore ng frame set at repack lang dapat to ng mga parts na may bearings, pero nung dumating sakin to isa isa ng naglabasan yung mga sakit ng bike

Mga hubs specially rear wheelset tuyo grasa, Bottom braket was a sealed cartridge specialized na tuyo na ang sounds at may konting alog, so there was no way to repack it

Tunnel guide wasak na, cable housings are old and needs to be replaced,rd pulleys matalim na ngipin, the cranks are mis match and modified to make them fit into the bike, Brake pads are already worn out and it turns out pala na....

Originally yung build ng bike nato is Ratraw or mismatch build / chapsuy kung tawagin, so nung nakita ni client yun nag decide siya na mag upgrade na for a much reliable bike parts since the bike will be restored and rebuilt from scratch.

May mga na save and rebuild naman tayong parts like, Comencal V brakes, Dia compe Brake levers, other parts just needs refresh like headset it was a Tange headset, Wheelset mismatch din pero maganda naman quality

So may mga parts parin tayo na nagamit hindi napalitan lahat, yung old drivetrain nya ang worn out lang is yung chain, pulleys, pero along the way nagkaroon ng surprise upgrade, they decided na mag upgrade na into Deore 11 speed setup!!

And luckily yung hubs nya is shimano rm-30 tulad nung shimano rm-40 model this can also fit 8 - 11speed drivetrain

Also nag customized tayo ng ibang old parts like yung seat clamp from faded red ginawa nating silver, also yung seatpost ganun din ginawa natin to lessen the black parts sa bike, may mga parts din tayong nirepaint like, MOB pedals, dia compe brake lever shell, lahat yun naging worth it nung nabuo na natin yung bike "small parts that are color corrected will largelly contribute sa kalalabasan ng bike" kaya importante to.

At the end of this build sobrang saya ni Client dahil nasunod natin yung gusto nyang setup, specially requested niya na gusto niya is rather be klunkin bars🤘 and it was a good decision, sobrang subok kona din kasi to and syempre support local hindi lahat kukuhanin natin sa shopee‼️

After the build was finished dun mas nakita ni client yung mga sina suggest ko na need palitan kase kita na yung big picyure and yung mga disadvantages, so they decided na ituloy ang upgrade next time! So abang ulit sa magiging itsura ni "Scarlet" yan daw name ng bike 🥵🤘
