✨ The Magic of Science Comes Alive! ✨

The Leon National High School – Science Department, in partnership with the Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O), successfully conducted “Magic of Science: A World of Science Magical Experience” on March 16, 2026 at the Leon National High School Gymnasium.

The activity showcased a fun and exhilarating science magic show that amazed and inspired learners as scientific concepts were demonstrated through exciting magical performances.

Learners from the Junior High School, Special Program in the Arts (SPA), and the Science, Technology and Engineering (STE) program witnessed this unique blend of science, entertainment, and discovery.

The event was made even more magical by the incredible presentation of Science Magic Philippines, leaving learners with curiosity, wonder, and a deeper appreciation for the world of science. 🔬✨

COMES THE LASER PRINTER

A Sindoh A608dn monochrome laser printer has been generously donated to support efficient, high-volume printing of administrative documents, research papers, and instructional materials. 🖨️✨

This new addition will be an advantage for preparing modules, activity sheets, and learning resources — perfect for our Alternative Delivery Mode and for enhancing the learning experience of our STE learners. 📚🔬💡

7 HIGH-END BEAM PROJECTORS, FULLY HOUSED.

Aside from the 2 beam projectors we already have, 5 more units have been generously donated to support our learners. These projectors make lessons more engaging, visual, and interactive, helping learners retain knowledge through presentations, videos, diagrams, and real‑time annotations.

Every STE grade level classroom — including the STE Research Office and Science Laboratory — will now be equipped to bring learning to life! 🚀🔬📊

EL FUEGO (The Fire) STE RESEARCH CONGRESS AWARDS NIGHT 2026

Leon National High School – Science, Technology, and Engineering (STE) Program proudly presents the “EL FUEGO” (The Fire) STE Research Congress 2026 Awards Night on March 24, 2026 4:00 PM at the Function Hall of Villa Asuncion Country Inn and Resort.

This spectacular evening will honor our outstanding young researchers and innovation leaders who have delivered the best research papers, presentations, and posters. International guest speakers will ignite inspiration, further fueling the passion of our budding STE learners.

The night will also be a journey down memory lane, as STE Grade 10 learners reminisce their entire Junior High School experience. Traditions will be celebrated with the STE Completion Sash Investiture and the awarding of the prestigious STE Thomas Edison Award.

Prepare for a night ablaze with excitement, as the venue is transformed with the fiery colors of red, orange, yellow, and gold, reflecting the burning spirit of innovation and excellence.

Please be informed that there has been a change in the examination schedule for the 2026 Science, Technology, and Engineering (STE) Program Admission at Leon National High School.

Kindly take note of the adjusted testing schedule:

🕗 Batch 1: 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM
🕙 Batch 2: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Applicants are advised to arrive early and follow the assigned batch schedule indicated on their exam permit.

🥪 Applicants are also encouraged to bring light snacks and water, especially for those waiting for their assigned batch.
