UAโHamtic empowers LGU San Remigio through Project RS-AIKS
In an era where technology continues to transform public service, the University of AntiqueโHamtic Campus, through its College of Computing and Information Sciences (CCIS), took a proactive step to strengthen local governance by implementing its extension project, PROJECT RS-AIKS: Reskilling for Smart and Innovative Governance through Knowledge and Systems, on December 19, 2025, at the San Remigio Municipal Hall, San Remigio, Antique.
Aimed at enhancing digital competence and workplace efficiency, the project benefitted personnel from the Local Government Unit of San Remigio, Antique, equipping them with practical and relevant skills crucial for modern governance. Through a series of hands-on trainings and workshops, participants were guided in leveraging technology to improve productivity, streamline processes, and elevate public service delivery.

Expert instructors are leading specialized trainings: Microsoft Office (Word) with Miss Maricel Jumagbas & Miss Janeth San Luis, PowerPoint Presentations with Maโam Lovely Rose Esparar, PC Repair and Maintenance with Sir Glenn Frencillo, Nee Librando, Darwin Wroi Rios, & Vicent Montanes, and Web Development fundamentals with Sir Roger S. Mission, DIT.
By combining digital literacy, productivity tools, and technical skills, Project RS-AIKS empowers participants to provide smarter, more innovative, and cost-effective public service. Beyond technical know-how, the program encourages teamwork, problem-solving, and real-world application of knowledge to benefit their communities.

The College of Computing and Information Sciences (CCIS) brought CCIS Week 2025 to its conclusion on Day 3, December 12, with a Gala and Awarding Ceremony held at the UAโHamtic Campus Convention Hall. As the final day of the three-day celebration, the event gathered students, faculty members, and invited guests for a fitting close that highlighted achievement, collaboration, and shared success.
Serving as the culminating activity of the week, the program recognized the winners of the Technolympics, academic competitions, and talent showcases, along with recipients of special awards who demonstrated excellence and active involvement across the various activities. Each recognition underscored the hard work, creativity, and competitive spirit that defined CCIS Week 2025.
Beyond the awarding of titles and citations, the ceremony became a moment of reflection for the CCIS community. Students, organizers, and faculty advisers were acknowledged for their collective efforts in staging a celebration that balanced academic rigor with creative expression. Applause filled the hall as achievements were honored, reinforcing the values of innovation, teamwork, and commitment that the college continues to uphold.
The program formally concluded with an Acknowledgement delivered by Associate Dean Roger S. Mission, DIT, marking the official close of CCIS Week 2025. Event Highlights:
On December 11, 2025, the CCIS Week Day 2 celebration carried on into the afternoon with the Talent Showcase, โCCIS Got Talent,โ held at 1:00 P.M. The event brought together students, faculty, and staff for an engaging afternoon filled with performances, cheers, and shared moments of appreciation for creativity.
Beyond the performances by selected Physical Education students, the audience played an active role in the eventโs lively atmosphereโresponding with applause, energy, and visible enthusiasm that filled the venue. Candid interactions and shared reactions captured the spirit of unity and enjoyment that defined the afternoon.
The Talent Showcase highlighted not only artistic expression on stage but also the strong sense of community and participation that continues to make CCIS Week a meaningful celebration.

Guintas buzzed with excitement as the College of Computing and Information Sciences (CCIS) launched Day 2 of its CCIS Week Celebration with a colorful Fun Run to the University of Antique Open Field. Students were met with splashes of water and bursts of vibrant powder, turning the route into a lively spectacle of energy and camaraderie.
The morning continued with an upbeat Zumba session, where students and faculty danced together to lively tunes, fostering wellness, teamwork, and a fun-filled atmosphere.
The excitement carried on with the Obstacle Course, facilitated by the Boy Scouts of the PhilippinesโAntique Council. Participants tackled hurdles, climbing stations, and teamwork challenges, enjoying the thrill of friendly competition.
Together, these activities highlighted health, school spirit, and the vibrant energy that define CCIS Week.
