Daloy Isarog

We share sympathy with the bereaved family of the former Barangay Captain Antonio Enciso in Barangay Belen. The untimely death of “Kap,” or Kapitan Ton, is mourned by his friends, family, barangay constituents, and most especially by his brothers and sisters in CAMP ISAROG WORLD WAR II HEROES’ DESCENDANTS FRATERNAL SOCIETY, INC., a group of the sons and daughters of the local heroes named as Camp Isarog Guerrillas who bravely defended the country from the wrath of WW2. One of the objectives of their group is to preserve, perpetuate, and pass on the patriotic legacies to the next generation of descendants of World War II freedom fighters based in Camp Isarog.

Partido State University mourns its loss of a partner in protecting the welfare and safety of students who are in boarding houses in Barangay Belen. Barangay Captain Tony initiated a MOA partnering with PSU, attaining its vision and mission for the students and graduates of the university.

Moreover, “ Kapitan”/ “ Ton” was a dedicated public servant and a proud citizen of our nation, as his nationalistic spirit was inherent to his character. He was the offspring of World War 2 veterans involved in the Camp Isarog Guerrilla Movement.

During the interview, he mentioned that his father, Alberto Cornejo Enciso, demonstrated a strong sense of nationalism at the age of 13. Japanese imperial soldiers were cordial towards his father, Alberto, perceiving him as a typical teenager who confidently entered and exited the Japanese garrison in Goa. He indeed played a role in providing intelligence that enhanced the advantages of Camp Isarog. As a medic, Ton’s mother tended to the injured guerrillas in Camp Isarog. Ton mentioned that his parents met and fell in love during their time serving in the camp. Following their liberation, they married and led a typical life filled with children.

Sa mga huling sandali ni Kapitan Ton, nararapat na malaman nating lahat ang pagiging lider ni Tony bilang may maayos na pamamalakad , mabuting halimbawa sa mga tao ang marangal na pagsilbi na nahulma mula sa karanasan ng kanyang mga magulang na may angking dugo ng kabayanihan.

Ang buong Daloy Isarog ay nagdadalamhati sa iyong pagpanaw, subalit nagpapasalamat sa iyong kabaitan na i-kwento sa amin ang kasaysayan ng kabayanihan ng iyong mga magulang. Sila ang tinatawag na mga unsung heroes ng Partido at sa rehiyong Bicol.
