Clarification on Office Memorandum No. 467, s. 2025: Extension of Classes and Academic-Related Activities until 21 December 2025

In reference to Office Memorandum No. 467, s. of 2025, this Office issues this clarification. Office Memorandum No. 467 does not constitute a revision of the approved Academic Calendar of Activities for School Year 2025-2026. The official calendar remains in effect, and all academic milestones and timelines prescribed therein shall continue to apply.

This extension is intended solely to provide allowance and authority to faculty members, academic staff and concerned students who, due to documented disruptions, need to go beyond 17 December 2025, strictly for the purpose of completing remaining coursework and other legitimate academic-related requirements for the semester.

Only classes and academic activities that were affected by the aforementioned suspensions and holidays may avail of this extension. No new lessons, activities, or requirements shall be introduced during the extended period; instead, the time shall be used exclusively to address backlogs, make-up classes, completion of course requirements, and the conduct of previously scheduled academic activities, including thesis and dissertation defenses.
