Flores de Mayo Culmination 2026
(A Summer Catechism)

After two meaningful weeks of learning, prayer, and fellowship, we warmly invite everyone to join the culmination of our Summer Catechism on June 1, 2026 (Monday), at 2:00 PM.

We encourage all registered children to come and participate as we celebrate this special occasion filled with fun, friendship, faith, and holiness. Let us end this journey with grateful hearts as we continue to grow closer to God through the guidance of Mama Mary.

We are also still accepting donations in kind, monetary assistance, and school supplies that will be given as tokens for the children. Any amount or support will be greatly appreciated and will surely bring joy to our young participants.

𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗟𝗗𝗥𝗘𝗡'𝗦 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗦

Last May 26, 2026, the Archdiocesan Shrine and Parish of Santiago Apostol de Compostela held its first-ever Children’s Congress. The event was attended by children from Kabahin 1 to Kabahin 9.

Our chapel also participated by sending five children to the Congress, namely: 𝐊𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫, 𝐀𝐲𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐚 𝐑𝐨𝐚𝐧𝐧 𝐏𝐥𝐞ñ𝐨𝐬, 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐬, 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐲𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐡 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐡, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐍𝐢𝐳𝐡𝐢𝐚 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐧 𝐏𝐥𝐞ñ𝐨𝐬, who joined the Kabahin 9 representatives. They were accompanied by our summer catechist, 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐘𝐛𝐚ñ𝐞𝐳, whose presence and support made the activity possible.

It was truly a day filled with joy, learning, and holiness. The children enjoyed fun games, meaningful activities, and inspiring lessons that strengthened their faith and friendship with one another. The event also gave them the opportunity to meet fellow young participants from different kabahins and experience the beauty of unity within the Church community.

The culmination of our chapel’s Flores de Mayo celebration will be held on June 1, 2026. We are still humbly looking for sponsors, either in kind (school supplies) or monetary donations, to support the success of this activity and bring joy to the children. Any amount or assistance will be greatly appreciated.
