There are really things that are already too difficult to fix. No matter what you do, no matter how hard you try, there’s nothing more you can change.

So you end up forcing yourself to hide all the pain and tears, just so no one else will get more annoyed by how emotional you are. You become afraid to show weakness, even when you’re completely crushed by what you’re feeling. You choose to keep everything to yourself because you know that in the end, you’ll only be the one blamed.

The sadness that wraps around your world feels suffocating—so heavy it almost kills you—and no one knows about it except you and the One above. You keep telling yourself that you did nothing wrong this time, so don’t beg too much from others, because you don’t deserve to be ignored.

You deserve forgiveness and love too, because you are a woman. You deserve to be cared for and respected, even if you have made mistakes—because you are only human. No matter how big your mistake was, you still deserve to be forgiven and accepted again. You keep telling yourself that over and over.

Yet deep inside, you cannot help but wonder if perhaps all of it will remain nothing more than a dream.

There really are people you believe are sincere in their intentions toward you as a friend. At first, you think they are kind and intelligent in every way, and you are convinced they are sensitive to the people around them. But in the end, you realize—it was all just an assumption.
That’s life, isn’t it, dear readers? But have you ever wondered how you can protect yourself from people like this? I may not know everything about human behavior, but I have met quite a number of people. And so far, I have encountered genuinely kind and decent individuals—but those with bad intentions are much harder to recognize.

Sometimes, the ones who appear flawless are the ones we assume to be good, only to find out they are hiding something ugly within. The kind of kindness that feels excessive—almost unreal. That’s something I can sense right away in a person.

And of course, as unsettling as it is, their ability is almost impressive—they can pretend so well, just to gain the trust of those who are emotionally vulnerable.

That is why I truly believe in the saying that God has a plan for you. He allows painful things to happen in your life not to break you, but to prepare you—for something bigger, something heavier, something that will require a stronger version of you.

Let me introduce myself first. I am Mrs Seah. Starting today, I will begin sharing the things I wish to express—my stories and thoughts—here, now, and in the days and seasons yet to come.
Today, I simply want to say that I feel the days of hardship may soon be coming to an end for some—each carrying their own struggles and sorrows in life.

Perhaps brighter mornings and quieter nights are about to begin—nights without tears, without the noise that rises from within our own homes. Sadness that has long been hidden inside dark, cramped rooms.
But the question remains: is this truly the end, or is this only the beginning of something even more painful in the future?
