LOOK: A Brown B***y bird was turned over to the DENR-CENRO through the assistance of the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO), headed by Mr. Roy Pornelos, after it was found weak in Brgy. Looc.

The bird had landed in the barangay and was cared for by a local family for two days before being formally surrendered to the authorities.

The Brown B***y is a seabird commonly found in Philippine waters and coastal areas, often traveling long distances across the sea in search of food.

It will temporarily stay in a wildlife sanctuary for observation and rehabilitation and will be released back into the wild once it has fully recovered.
