Bridging the SME Climate Finance Gap: From Ambition to Investment

Climate mitigation finance has never been more available. Yet despite growing commitments from financial institutions and a pipeline of promising opportunities, a persistent gap remains between available capital and its effective deployment toward SMEs and real economy projects.

According to the OECD, SMEs represent nearly 40% of global business-sector emissions—yet consistently struggle to access the climate finance available to support their transition. The challenge is structural: financial institutions need better tools to identify and structure finance-ready opportunities, while SMEs need technical support to translate their climate performance into credible, bankable proposals.

On May 28th, Green Initiative and its partners are hosting an international webinar to discuss this challenge and present practical solutions, including the official launch of our Climate Mitigation Finance Framework—a science-based system designed to connect financial institutions and SMEs in high-impact sectors.

We would be delighted to have you join the conversation.

Why Attend?
