Boredom is one of our defining features as human beings. We become oblivious to the wonderful things around us and numb to the bad things like cruelty, misinformation and pollution.

Harvard law Professor Cass Sunstein and neuroscientist Tali Sharot say there is a way to regain sensitivity that helps us identify the bad and appreciate the good.

I ask WHY are they doing or want to do this business or activity.. and I keep asking WHY till I get to the root cause.. a technique I learnt at a very good Ideation workshop I did in Mexico many years ago..
