I'm Bridget, the person at the heart of Hearts Collective. I live in Wanaka - a small town in the Southern Alps of New Zealand. After a career as an international freestyle skier I got into graphic design and was art director and publisher of New Zealand Skier, New Zealand Snowboarder and New Zealand Skateboarder magazines for 10 years. After a stint enjoying the surfing life at Wainui Beach near Gisborne I am now back in my home town of Wanaka working as a graphic designer for Endurance and Triathlete magazines and enjoying the outdoors lifestyle. Since I was a kid, I've been sewing, knitting, painting, sculpting and generally creating for the fun of it. I also have a strong connection with our natural environment and a growing sense of responsibility to promote new ways of thinking and consuming that will have the least impact on the planet. I have a passion for helping talented, creative people to have an outlet for their expression. Shoppers are becoming more aware that their buying habits have an environmental impact.
