er four years, Jessica moved to Canada for two where she worked for Ossur Canada Limited, specialising in high end knee bracing. After Canada, Jessica returned to New Zealand and The Orthotic Centre. This time she was based out of Orthotic Active, a sister clinic of The Orthotic Centre. The clinic specialised in ACC and private clients. After 18 months of Orthotic Active, Jessica decided she was ready for her next challenge and pursued opening up her own clinic, a dream of hers since the beginning. Friends of Jessica’s were studying Te Reo at the time of the clinic’s inception, which was how the name Ora was born. Ora means to be alive, well, safe, cured, recovered, healthy, fit, healed. It encompasses all that the clinic values. It is Jessica’s hope that every client who walks out of Ora has an experience defined by the meaning of Ora.
