This hits the nail on the head.
Luckily, the Govt’s response to the economic slump caused by Covid, is to invest billions in job creation, infrastructure building and other projects designed to keep the economy afloat.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to build back better and avert the worst of the climate crisis.
As Rod Oram says, if we want a better future, we’ll have to fight for it. Better means for all people and the planet. Fight means to overcome, by all ethical means, those seeking a return to the pre-Covid status quo.
