I can 1000% vouch for this!! 4 years into full on therapy and I can sit with all those triggers until they regulate, instead of reacting to the old stories. Every single day I have at least one event that makes me reflect on how far I have come and how deeply trauma had misshapen me.

Now whenever I feel that emotional burn building I try to say 'I love you Jacqui' until it turns into a warm glow.
