Bear and I watched a documentary on Popcorn Sutton the other day called "This is the last dam run of Likker I'll ever make" which inspired this drawing. Never far from a sketchbook even when out for lunch. I love watching drawing develop in front of my eyes.

Day 22

Unfortunately life had to come first once again and it seems fitting that I chose a Panic Button for this prompt. Last week a family member suddenly and unexpectedly passed and her Funeral was yesterday.

Sometimes I think that if I were to find the Universal Control Panel there would be a big Panic Button with an Out of Order note taped to it, written on an old receipt from the local Thai Food Restaurant.

The Arctic is not a place I would want to live. Except for the beauty of the Northern Lights.

Day 18

The Moon shines brightly on the Crossroads, casting long shadows along the ground. All around the horizon are storm clouds threatening to come in heaving their rain on the earth yet, they seem to hesitate like a frightened dog, wanting to enter a room but to afraid to cross the threshold.
Suddenly a man appears, just like the legends say he would. You didn't think it was real but, here he is, standing right in front of you.
He isn't scary as in the conventional sense and yet.
He offers the greatest of wants, of needs, makes the deepest promises. Says that anything desired is possible but, why not have a little help along the way.
"All you have to do is sign." He says with an evil smile on his face as he holds out a Contract.
The choice is yours. No force, no pressure. Only your own need, greed, love, desire.

I had the thought of this young Elephant, out in his Natural Habitat, no Zoo, no owner, playing happily and grabs up a fallen tree trunk like a human child would a stick and plays with it.
