DD KART
Dom goes airborne…
Will doesn’t lift…

Just a friendly chase…

End of the Melbourne Walk.
Entrance to the F1 pits.
And a DD KART casually parked there😎👌
From F1 drivers to my 9 years old daughter...
The range of people enjoying DD KART is quite something😁

From a driveway project… to helping raise AU$50,100 for Wings for Life🕊️
Still pretty crazy to think this little drift kart I built in my driveway ended up here.
Seeing world class drivers jump in a DD KART during F1 week in Melbourne was already unreal!
But seeing one of the karts help raise AU$50,100 for Wings for Life made it even more special.
From the beginning, I always wanted DD KART to have some adaptability built into it.
One of the ideas I had early on was a hand-controlled setup using a throttle lever on the handbrake.
Because DD KART has no clutch operation, a relatively simple update could make that possible, and open the door for people with limited use of their legs to experience drifting in a more equal and exciting way.
That’s why this connection with Wings for Life feels so meaningful to me.
Really proud that something built in my driveway could become part of this story.
Huge thanks to everyone who helped make it happen.
Especially Red Bull AU, Red Bull NZ, Red Bull motorsports, RedBull racing, Toni and Madmike.
Feels like this is only the beginning☺️

DD KART started as a crazy idea in my driveway workshop.
Just building, testing, and drifting… over and over again.
I never imagined one day it would end up being used during the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne, with Formula 1 drivers jumping in.
DD KART is not a traditional go kart.
It’s something different.
A new kind of drifting experience.
This page will share the story, the builds, and the journey ahead.
More to come.
